Brighton Clock Tower directions
The Clock Tower of Brighton was built in 1888 to celebrate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. Above the clock was a copper sphere that would rise up the mast every hour and fall on the hour. The mechanism is no longer in use after the council had so many complaints from locals about the noise!
